Why is Workable relevant to AIXPERT?
Within the AIXPERT project, Workable leads Use Case 2, which focuses on transforming the job application experience. Moving beyond “black-box” recruitment, Workable is developing AI-driven systems that provide candidates with constructive, explainable feedback and tailored reskilling recommendations. This shift from simple rejection to active career guidance promotes labour market inclusivity and aligns with the EU AI Act’s requirements for transparency and fairness in high-stakes AI applications.
In UC2, Workable contributes by:
- Validating Agent-Based Support: Testing AIXPERT agents as transparent decision-support tools that allow human recruiters to review and challenge AI-generated recommendations.
- Providing Interpretable Screening: Developing explainable candidate screening mechanisms that allow recruitment decisions to be clearly justified.
- Empowering Candidate Growth: Delivering skill-gap analysis and reskilling recommendations to provide applicants with actionable feedback.
- Ensuring Algorithmic Fairness: Implementing methods to detect and mitigate potential bias across demographic groups.
- Building Scalable Evidence: Demonstrating how responsible AI agents can operate in real-world recruitment systems.
- Upholding Regulatory Standards: Supporting compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act through transparent AI processes and responsible data handling.
