What is AIXPERT
AIXPERT is a €7.5 million international research initiative funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). Our mission is to make AI smarter, safer, and more trustworthy across critical sectors such as healthcare, human resources, manufacturing, robotics, and the creative industries.
Our vision
Explainable, Transparent, Accountable, and Human-Centered AI
AIXPERT project aims to transform how AI is developed, deployed, and trusted by society. Our consortium is building a comprehensive, explainable, and adaptable AI framework that addresses key concerns around bias, opacity, autonomy, and robustness.
Through five real-world pilots in healthcare, recruitment, manufacturing, robotics, and the creative industries, AIXPERT will showcase the practical benefits of transparent and ethical AI systems, helping to build broad trust in AI across sectors and societies. By prioritising explainable and accountable AI, AIXPERT will also ensure full compliance with EU ethical and legal standards set out in the AI Act.
